In 2002, David Alley purchased a copy of Microsoft Frontpage from Harvey Norman and built a website which no longer exists www.breakingthedrought.com. That website proved popular and had over 40,000 hits in 2 years.
In the years that followed many other people and organisations wanted David to build them a webiste. In 2005 David started Web Technology Queensland as a web design business part time.
In 2010 the business began to specialise in web hosting, and started hosting on its first server in the USA, and has grown from there. WTQ now has several staff and supports a growing client base.
Today, Wordpress has taken over the internet and slowed it down, and WTQ Hosting, while still a hosting specialist, has now entered into the TF website design area. This website is an example of a simple fast website, built with traffic focus (TF) in mind.
